The "Hotspot Finder" is an automatic recording system for spatial dose rates linked with GPS functionality. It is equipped with a super high-sensitivity gamma-ray detector that combines a large-capacity CsI (Tl) scintillator with a semiconductor optical detector (MPPC). It has a fast response time and can graph the changes in spatial dose rates every second, allowing for the detection of micro hot spots.
